Product Overview
Pelsue Mahole Shields use a dependable temporary pneumatic seal to keep ground water from flowing into open manholes. Simply inflate the tube with 5-10 pounds of air or nitrogen to form a water-tight seal, no clamps or sealing compounds required. All-aluminum fabrication ensures the shields are both strong and lightweight.
The two series 2730 models (reversible 27” and 30”) fit most communications manholes, while the 3336 model (reversible 33” and 36”) fit many electric utility manholes.
Available with the optional Pelsue Pel Protector (2760): a lightweight, molded fiberglass guard for manhole shields which protects workers below from falling objects and debris without obstructing ventilation or emergency escapes. Can hold the weight of an average man, yet weighs only 9.5 lbs.
